Mobley is a bit of a “do it all” big for USC. Has solid handling and passing ability for his size and position. His real value comes with pairing that handling and passing with some solid shooting ability. With his frame, those skills are valuable. Is able to get some boards due to his height, but I wouldn’t say it’s due to relentless effort. Doesn’t create much for himself or others off of the bounce. His defensive ability is really where there are concerns. USC plays a lot of zone and Mobley can still get a little lost. Doesn’t have great vertical lift. Doesn’t have good blocking instincts. Will be best served to be a weakside rim protector.
