Looking Forward
Williams is largely considered to be one of—if not the—best passers in the draft. Is his passing ability something a team is going to hone in on in the draft? He rebounds well enough. He interior scoring consists of a “shotput”-type floater, but there aren’t really any post moves, or (obviously) counters. He will have to play drop coverage, but he isn’t super lengthy and doesn’t have great verticality. He isn’t a good rim protector right now. Has a hard time staying in front of perimeter players. On offense he has a good percentage from deep, but on only 11 attempts on the season. His Free Throw Percentage (57%) doesn’t indicate that it’s reliable. His creation and strength could be enough to take him in the 2nd Round.
